Trivandrum: As part of the state government’s Ease of Doing Business policy, eight more services in the Department of Motor Vehicles have been made online. Transport Minister, Shri Antony Raju said that with this, all the services except driving test and vehicle inspection, for which the applicants are required to appear in person, can be done online.
Services such as correcting the address on the registration certificate, changing the ownership of the vehicle, NOC of the vehicle, duplicate registration certificate, cancellation of hypothecation and hypothecation endorsement are available online. Renewal of permits and change of permits for vehicles other than stage carriages are included in the online system. This will make the services of the Department of Motor Vehicles easily accessible to the public.
